Hackers unlock new NES Mini Classic – Follow

it Was in July that Nintendo announced a new NES Mini Classic. The console was only launched in November and, as major limitations, especially for the fact of not being able to install new games or be able to connect it to the Internet.

But, according to a video now posted, the console of Nintendo was unlocked and it is possible to install new games.

THE NES Mini Classic comes pre-loaded with 30 classic games. According to several reports, the quality of emulation is excellent, but the big problem is not possible to install new games. However, according to information published on Reddit, a group of Russian hackers and the japanese were able to, finally, unlock the console, and it is now possible to install new ones (30 in total).

The unlock process is complex and involves a Famicom Mini console (Japanese that has the same motherboard of the NES) and a cable serial-to-USB cable to upload games.
