“The Crown”, the series from Netflix that airs on 4 November, has a new trailer. The show discusses the private history of Queen Elizabeth II “at the beginning of his reign, revealing the intrigue, the novels, as well as the political rivalries and personal behind-the-scenes of the great events that formed the second half of the TWENTIETH century”.

“The new production from Netflix, The Crown, reveals the story of Queen Elizabeth II married at age 25, when confronted with the prospect daunting to lead the monarchy the most famous in the world, at the same time it strengthens the relationship as the legendary prime minister, Sir Winston Churchill. The British Empire is in decline, the political world is in disarray and a young woman takes the throne, is the beginning of a new era”, refers to the synopsis of the series, with the script and research by Peter Morgan, who sought to reveal the route to the private of the Queen behind the facade of the public and his frankness bold.

“The Crown”, with 10 episodes, is directed by Stephen Daldry (Billy Elliot, The Hours) and is based on the award-winning stage play The Audience. Claire Foy take on the role of Queen Elizabeth II.
