It is love, it is theft, it is the fire that he built on Main Street [main street] and shot full of holes. He has not won for the Chronic [autobiography written by Dylan], the best memory of the rock & roll of all time. He has not won for Tarantula, to his famous and indecipherable novel. He has not won by his lyrics, which remain filled with errors that he never bothered to fix it," said the writer of the american magazine specialized in music Rolling Stone, Rob Sheffield. The Beatles and the Rolling Stones were inspired by it because it really was from him that the rock won a weight art, of culture really. This award has really rewarded this, goes to show that Bob Dylan has made a difference brutal when he began to print his own style. Their letters questioning, deep enough, an x-ray of american society," he said to the Agency Brazil.

Tárik evaluates that the award of Bob Dylan should not be followed by other singers of today. "Bob Dylan is a special case, was not only an intellectual aspect. He is a guy that comes from the confluence of the Beat generation, american generation of poets, and he turned it into a thing popular, high consumption, one thing mass really. His success was astounding, it really translated to the public at large the deepest questions through his poetics. He is an artist very unique, hard to give another prize to another person in Pop Art such as Bob Dylan’s"
