SamPhillips, a recognized producer who discovered the talent of Elvis Presley, will be the next character that Leonardo DiCaprio will interpret it in the cinema. Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones, will also help in the production. The film is inspired by the book of Peter Guralnick, 2015, “Sam Phillips: The Man Who Invented Rock ‘N’ Roll” and follows the career of the producer in the studio that he had in Memphis, the United States, where they spent the big names of the music.
according To the website Deadline, the movie will be developed by the Appian Way, the production company’s own Dicaprio. The studio is still looking for a director and a screenwriter for the project.
Phillips also worked with names such as B. B. King, Howlin’ Wolf, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Roy Orbison.
