ABBA are back together for a “new digital experience” – the Public.en



it Was announced on Thursday that the band Swedish ABBA will gather for a "new digital experience" in 2018, after more than 30 years without any public performance.

the members of The group Released Faltskog, Bjorn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad will join in this collaboration to the creator of the program American Idol Simon Fuller and Universal Music.

In a statement, Fuller explained that they are going to “explore a new world of technology, with virtual reality and artificial intelligence on the front line, that will enable us to create new forms of entertainment and content that we could not imagine before".

over more than 30 years of career, Simon Fuller managed and kept track of the careers of musicians and groups such as Annie Lennox, the Spice Girls and Amy Winehouse, but also the football player british David Beckham, tennis player Andy Murray, racing driver, Lewis Hamilton and a trio winner of the American Idol: Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and David Cook.

ABBA, famous for a series of successful musical in the 1970s and in the beginning of the 1980s such as Waterloo, Dancing Queen or Take A Chance On Me, separated in 1982.

“our fans around the world are always asking for us to be together and I hope that the new creation of the ABBA the inspire in the same way that is exciting to me,” said Lyngstad.

The next details about this collaboration will be released in the next year.
