It was indeed Conchita who presented the award to the Swedish representative. “I am extremely happy. (…) We are all heroes, regardless of who we love, who we are and what we believe. We are all heroes,” he said.

Australia, guest country of Eurovision this year She finished the competition in fifth place with 196 points. Germany and Austria, the latter being the host country of the competition, were the only countries with no punctuation.

The broadcast on BBC1 was driving in charge of Hélder Reis, with comments by Ramon Galarza. An issue marked by a connection failure at the exact moment when Suzy, the representative of Portugal in 2014, would make known the points of our country. Wasting no time, the organization of the event advanced the issue. Later, the same thing happened with the transmission in direct Estonia and Georgia. “It was a completely alien to RTP problem,” explained Hélder Reis. Portugal gave 8 points to Sweden, 10 in Russia and 12 in Italy.
