‘The Reborn’ and ‘Mad Max’ more nominees – Correio da Manhã

‘The Reborn’, by Mexican director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, and ‘Mad Max – Road Rage’. are films leading the nominations for the Oscars, announced on Thursday. The first has 12 nominations to the golden statuettes, while George Miller action movie arrives at ten nominations.

Following are ‘Lost in Mars’, Ridley Scott, with seven nominations, while’ The Bridge of Spies’, ‘Carol’ and ‘The Case Spotlight’ reached six.

The Academy has chosen for this year, eight nominees for the Oscar for Best Picture: in addition to ‘The Reborn’ (which opens in Portugal next Thursday) and ‘Mad Max: Road Fury’, even competing films’ Brooklyn ‘, who arrives on Thursday the Portuguese rooms,’ The Case Spotlight ” Room ‘ ‘ Bridge of Spies’, ‘ Lost on Mars’ and’ The Wall Street fall ‘ which also arrives in Portugal on Thursday.

The nominees were announced in the early afternoon of Thursday, at the Academy’s Samuel Godlwyn Theater in Beverly Hills. It was left to the directors Guillermo Del Toro and Ang Lee and actor John Krasinski and President of the Academy Cheryl Boone make the announcement.

The ceremony of the golden statuettes takes place on the 28th of February, the presentation of actor Chris Rock.
