Fuel price goes down – Express

As a consequence of continued oil’s value fall, the week starts with a decline in fuel prices, with gasoline to drop to 4.5 cents per liter and diesel to be cheaper 3.5 cents. In white lettering is expected a reduction of around three cents.

This is the first cut of the year in the price of fuels, although further declines are likely to happen. The price of Brent oil barrel for delivery in March, opened on Monday in low on the London futures market, worth $ 28.46, 1.6% less than at the close of the previous session.

On Friday, Brent barrel of crude for March delivery ended at London futures market in downtown 6.70% to $ 28.94.

It was the first time since 2004 that the barrel price value at the end of the London session was below $ 30.

The reason given was the fear that the return of the Iranian oil market (after the lifting of sanctions the country) exacerbate the abundance of an already excessive supply over demand, which has dragged prices down for a year and a half.

Harmful to exporting countries, this low advantage, however, to consumers, major countries and dependent on fuel companies, such as airlines.
