in A recent interview with GamingBolt, the famous analyst Michael Pachter talked about what he thinks about the future of the PlayStation 4 now that the launch of the PlayStation 4 Pro is around the corner.
“I Think that Sony may reach as high as 120-140 million with a lot of ease,” said Pachter. “And what makes me most encouraged about is that the PS4 Slim is the cost 249 dollars, we’re seeing a degradation in the curve of the price of the PS4 faster than what we saw on the PS3. And this is very impressive.”
“Let’s be realistic, most of the people think that 400 dollars is a lot of money. Most people know that $ 300 is less than 400, and 200 is still less. Cheaper is better. And we know that Mcdonald’s sells more burgers than the restaurants sell steaks, because the burgers cost about a dollar and steak $ 20. You can feed you for a dollar instead of spend 20, I guess that makes sense. So if Sony is able to lower the price of its console to $ 200, I think that they will be able to get to 175 million.”
However, the PlayStation 4 Pro will be available from tomorrow, the 10th of November, for a price of €399,99.
