LEFF: “The Last Family” is the big winner – the Observer

The big winner of this year’s edition of the Lisbon & Estoril Film Festival (LEFF) — whose closure takes place this Sunday at the Centro Cultural de Belém, in Lisbon, is the film "The Last Family", by the Polish director Jan P. Matuszynski, who won the Best Film Award (Grand Prix Jaeger Le she has been), as the Revelation Prize (TAP). The film is based on the story (true) of a surrealist painter Polish born in 1929. The jury was composed by Jerzy Skolimowski, Marthe Keller, Valentina Lodovini and André Saraiva.

This category was assigned is still an honorable mention to the short film of the belgian Valentina Maurel, with the name "Paul est là".

the closing ceremony of The Lisbon & Estoril Film Festival starts this Sunday at 20.00 in the Cultural Centre of Belém. After the delivery of the prizes, will be displayed in the premiere of the movie Nocturnal Animals, Tom Ford.
