The art hit the streets on a day like this. In areas of Lisbon, like Chiado, Bairro Alto and Principe Real, are on display 31 works from the collection of the National Art Museum.

The institution brought to Portugal a practice which is already common in the world’s great museums: signing an agreement with a private company (in this case, HP Portugal) to create a “street gallery ‘, taking the art to those who’ live ‘the city

In all, the project ‘ComingOut. And if the museum leave the street? ‘Displays 31 reproductions of high quality, works from the collection of the National Museum of Ancient Art, which will be patent until January next year.

To make life easier for Lisbon and (above all) to tourists, are being distributed maps indicating accurately the premises where the exhibition.

The screens are displayed just like a museum:. “In real scale and fitted frames and wooden tables,” according to a statement from the National Museum of Ancient Art
