Harry Potter (Photo reproduction XE7 & #; & # XE3; o) Tickets for the first season of play” Harry Potter and the Cursed Child “, which will take place between June and September next year, went on sale on Wednesday morning. But the demand was so high that tickets exhausted in less than one hour.

According to the Belfast Telegraph, the situation has generated controversy, as the large volume of buyers caused technical difficulties in the online ticketing system. After more than three hours in line, many fans turned out to not be able to buy tickets, and did not hide his dissatisfaction on social networks.

To address the situation, the producers decided to open a second sales period, which runs until January 8, 2017.

The cheapest tickets were soon sold in the first hour leading to the younger fans were unable to pay 350 euros for the front row places. Later, it was learned that several retail sites were selling tickets at prices that reached the 4000 euros.

The author JK Rowling announced last week that this is an official sequel. Designed to be assisted in two parts, on the same day or on consecutive days, at the Palace Theatre in London, the story takes place 19 years after the release of the seventh book, “Deathly Hallows.” The plot will focus on Albus, Harry’s son.

The play is based on an original story by Rowling, written by Jack Thorne and staged by Olivier award winner, John Tiffany. The first season will start June 7, 2016 and ends on 18 September.
