The Pixies formed themselves in 1986 and in 1988 made themselves known to the world with the release of debut album Surfer Rosa . The band is known to have influenced the likes of Nirvana, Radiohead or The Strokes and was a key part to the popularity of indie in the ’90s to the present day.

The electro pop trio Years & amp.; Years is another premieres in Portugal. The July 8 on the Stage NOS, have firsthand the debut album Communion , released last July. Later this year, the Years & amp; Years were nominated for the prize British Artist of the Year, those who are considered one of the most important industry awards, the BBC Music Awards. The Years & amp; Years are composed of Olly Alexander (vocals), Emre Turkmen (synthesizers) and Mikey Goldsworthy (synthesizers and bass).
Also on July 8, and at the same stage go up the Foals to present, for the first time lusas land, the latest full-length, What Went Down , released last August. The quintet led by Yannis Philippakis has four studio albums. Their live performances, guaranteed them to be considered one of the most important alternative rock bands of today.
