Increase the illegal sale of tickets

ASAE opened four criminal cases by price speculation.

They are growing crimes associated with selling tickets to major concerts, as the Adele and Justin Bieber in Lisbon in 2016. At issue is the sale of tickets through the internet with values ​​higher than the tariff prices. On some sites you can purchase tickets (many times false) for amounts exceeding 300 euros, when they will not cost more than 125.

It is “organized crime”, says Álvaro Covões of Everything is New, which guarantees the CM have warned repeatedly ASAE for this situation. “But the crime remains,” he laments. The official criticizes the lack of “force” of the authorities and points the finger at online shopping platforms like Seatwish site. “These are platforms that encourage illegal business and the authorities can not close our eyes and say you can not do anything because the sites are hosted abroad. You can block access,” argues Álvaro Covões. The CM contacted the leaders of the Seatwish in Portugal but received no response.
