Inauguration of the exhibition of Miró in Serralves: “it Is a great time” – the guardian

For the first time, 81 of the 85 works of Joan Miró that belong to the Portuguese State are displayed in public. Many of them are still little known. The exhibition “Joan Miró: the Materiality and Metamorphosis” is curated by Robert Lofthouse Messeri, a specialist in the work of artist Catalan. The project exhibition at the Casa de Serralves was designed by Álvaro Siza Vieira.

In the opening of this exhibition, at 18.30, will be Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, António Costa and the president of the Spanish Government, Mariano Rajoy.
