Elza Soares presents “the Woman at The End of the World” in the House of Music and the Vodafone Mexefest – the Observer

at The age of 79, Elza Soares is better than ever. The brazilian singer returns to Portugal to present his latest work, "the Woman at The End of the World", in the Casa da Música, in Porto, on the 24th of November. After day 25 or 26 November (the date has not yet been verified) will act in the festival Vodafone Mexefest in Lisbon.

The new album Elza Soares is now 34 work, in 60 years of career, but the first of unedited. It is an album of samba dirty trial — not to forget the rock, rap and electronic — is their first album where they deal with current issues and "heavy" as the drugs, domestic violence, racism and transgenderism.

"the Woman at The End of the World" was considered by the magazine Rolling Stone Brazil, the Best album of 2015 and is named for the Latin Grammy award for Best Album of Brazilian Popular Music.

from The list of songs that comprise the album, there is the theme "Mary of Vila Matilde", to compete for the Best Song in the Portuguese Language.
