The room Grand Tivoli Theatre Auditorium is set to have the name of the famous Portuguese filmmaker Manoel de Oliveira who died recently at 106 years.
The decision was made on Monday by the Municipal Assembly of Porto that adopted by unanimously, a vote of sympathy and the award of this honor.
Both proposals started from the Mayor of Porto, Rui Moreira.
Also Isabel Alves Costa, who died in 2009 , will be honored with the award of its name to the small auditorium of Rivoli Theatre, where he worked as artistic director.
