GNR launches “Black Box” – Rossio Gazette

“Black Box” is the new album from GNR, published today, with a “sense of liberation” and “relief”, an independent publisher, marking the return of the Portuguese group to pop songs.

After “Retropolitana” in 2010 and “domestic flights” in 2011, GNR decided to take the reins of the band and created the independent record label Indiefada, by which leaves “Black Box”, distributed by Sony Music.

Since the 1980s that Toli César Machado, Jorge Romão and Rui Reininho are in GNR, New Rock Group, and are trying to follow and adapt to the market with this new album. Toli Machado, told Lusa that the ten songs of the “black box” is a return to the ancient times of GNR.

Produced by Mário Barreiros, the album has nine original such as “Electric Chair” and ” Sad titan “, and even a version of” Bewildered “, retrieved from disk” special defects “, 1984.

The GNR now have, from this album, with guest musicians such as drummer Samuel Sticks and keyboardist Paulo Borges.

With 12 studio album, the GNR, advanced with an independent production and returned to typical songs pop songs that only they can do.
