The live shows in Portugal had in 2013 an increase of 6.6% in the sessions and 1.7% in viewers, but according to the National Statistics Institute (INE) there was a decrease in box office revenue of 8.5% .
In 2013 there were 29 385 sessions of live shows, 8.9 million viewers, and revenues of 60 million euros, 8.5% less than in 2012.
However , of 8.9 million viewers of the live shows in Portugal, only 3.8 million paid ticket.
