Henrique Leitão surprised with the Pessoa Prize 2014 – Digital Journal

Born in Lisbon on 7 November 1964, José Henrique Sampaio de Sousa Soares Leitão has a PhD in Physics from the University of Lisbon in 1998, and is currently Principal Investigator at the Center Interuniversity the History of Science and Technology (CIUHCT), and lecturer at the Faculty of Science, University of Lisbon.

In his career, Henrique Leitão “combines solid scientific background with a humanistic knowledge, making it a true cultivator of interdisciplinarity”, today stressed the president of the jury, Francisco Pinto Balsemão, the prize announcement.
