In the film, none of the characters have the names of the people who inspired them: Carlos Castro is here, Antonio; while the young model is called Rodrigo. Are played by John D’Avila and Ruben Garcia, respectively. Marina Albuquerque also has a “very short, but extraordinary contribution,” writes the director on his Facebook page.

In addition to the crime in the New York hotel, Rui Filipe Torres was inspired by the play “Crime in New York, “the actor John of Avila.

Renato Seabra was tried in New York and sentenced to 25 years in prison.
