Several hotels in the city of Fatima already have sold out for May 2017, when the visit of Pope Francisco which is expected in April, confirmed to want to move to the Cova da Iria.
“Once it became known that the Pope wanted to come, had an abnormal volume of phone calls and we have ordered rooms for May 2017 almost every day,” he told Lusa agency Natalia Neves, hotel managing partner Rosemary.
The businesswoman said that “Fatima will hardly, hotel capacity to respond to a pope’s visit, but do not need more hotels,” adding that in case your hotel reservations for the 12 and 13 May, year after year, “is the same customer every time, from year to year, will renew the reserves’ and that invariably exhausted its capacity.
