Parents are the ones who suffer most from the musical tastes of children. A US study showed that the letters have been getting worse and the lower the level of reading, more and more children like parents suffer from the continuous repetition of the songs.
Children love songs with simple lyrics, but the trend causes two problems, the most known the suffering of parents for whom hearing the same music is torture.
The ‘worst problem’, pass the expression is the decline in the quality of the lyrics. A US study showed that in the last decade, the reading level required to understand the lyrics are lower and lower.

The results also show that the average lexical level has been steadily falling over the past decade
The ‘country music’ is the style that most combat this phenomenon, as it features more elaborate letters. ‘All about Tonight’, Blake Shelton, it was the issue that got the highest rating
But the preferences of children go to the ‘rhythm & amp.; blues’ and hip hop, whose letters are those that require a lower reading level.
Andrew Powell-Morse, the lead author of the study, pointed out that these musical styles’ abuse ‘of interjections as ‘yeah’ and ‘oh’.
The investigator also noted that the methodology focused on the lexical level, not addressing metaphors or emotions expressed in the songs.
As a curiosity, refira- that the following ‘All about Tonight’, a 2010 issue that evokes parties with alcohol, on top of the ‘quality’ of the letters comes ‘Dani California’, a theme of Red Hot Chili Peppers that tells the story of a young American who ‘loses’ in California.
Eminem’s hip-hop with lyrics require greater lexical level, made ‘shared’ with Mariah Carey in pop music.
