A decade ago, the country looked in wonder at that “meteorite” that “landed” in the Rotunda da Boavista, in the heart of Porto. The giant polyhedron of concrete and glass, emblematic work of the European Capital of Culture, opened doors four years later than planned and after repeated fiscal slippages. But, after all, what was there?
Ten years later, it is hard to find anyone who does not recognize the merits of the House of Music, which in addition to major symbol of the city by the sleek design of the Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas, became a cultural center of excellence in Europe.
