Braga: 100 years of Circus Theater – Saturday Magazine

With a Rodrigo Leão concert, today and tomorrow, kick off the centennial celebrations of Theatro Circo, Braga. By the end of the week there will be music, theater and guided tours. This is the first of many weeks of celebration under the motto “The Century Theatre”. The intense program extends until 21 April next year.

The day is exactly 100 years, the Circus Theater first opened its doors, Rodrigo Leão enters stage (22 hours) to present some classic themes their repertoire. On the first night, the show features the special participation of soprano Dora Rodrigues Braga.

During the morning (10h and 11h) there are guided tours by actors Braga Theatre Company, resident group of space, will reveal some backstage stories. Throughout this little trip interpret excerpts of some of its shows. The visits are repeated 24 days (11.30 and 12.30) and 25 (11am).
