Antonio Zambujo in edpcooljazz – Swab

Antonio Zambujo (pictured) is the Portuguese artist who acts in this year’s edpcooljazz, the Marques de Pombal Gardens, Oeiras, on 23 July. The news was given by Commercial Radio .

Confirmed is also the action of Pierre Aderne that will make the first part concert of Melody Gardot, one of the most acclaimed artists of contemporary jazz, on 29 July.

This will be the second time the Alentejo singer with an international dimension treads the stage of edpcooljazz, taking responsibility for bring the concert in Portuguese this 12th edition. Antonio Zambujo was once considered the Best New Voice of Fado, a distinction that had already been delivered to the likes of Mariza or Camané, and their second album earned him the award for Best Male Performer of Fado, awarded by the Foundation Amalia Rodrigues.

The poster of this year also includes the already announced Mark Knopfler names, 28 and July, the musicians Chick Corea & amp; Herbie Hancock, on 19 July, Melody Gardot on 29 July, Lionel Richie on 30 July and the double Caetano Veloso and Gilberto Gil to 31 July. Ticket prices for the concert of Antonio Zambujo are unknown
