When the artistic director Rui Neves sits to set the Jazz festival in August, which annually takes place at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon, not part of previously defined principles. But after cobbled the program always reaches several conclusions that unite the various concerts. On August 1 the Austrian trumpeter Michael Mantler will join in the Amphitheatre of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation Orchestra Jazz de Matosinhos, recovering the historical project Jazz Composer “s.” He made this project in 1968, in New York, was then attached to the free jazz movement.
