The accident was on the 17th of April and caught everyone by surprise. Little Rodrigues collided with a car Brisa in full A5 when it was carrying out cleaning work on the road. The accident was spectacular and as serious injuries that shot the 59-year designer for a deep coma. Monday, April 24, came the worst news. The death of Paulo Gonzo girlfriend was one of the scenarios described by doctors, so Wee Rodrigues entered the Hospital of Santa Maria, Lisbon.
The affection was severe and the designer was even between life and death. The singer waited a few days and decided to resume the schedule. Coma girlfriend meant that all wait and, therefore, Paulo Gonzo wanted to continue singing while waiting for news. This Sunday came to worst. Rodrigues little succumbed to injuries caused by the accident and died. Paulo Gonzo mourns his girlfriend and friends have said they lost a great love.
Everyone is in shock and do not understand in what circumstances the accident occurred. The designer drove an Audi A3 and was doing the route Lisbon – Cascais, at 23.30 on 17 April when he saw the impact. The singer never wanted to talk about it in public and, where appeared, was keen to show a smile. In the last commitment, Paulo Gonzo took a selfie with Carolina Torres and Tiago Bettencourt, host and guest of “Milkshake” program, Meo Music. Despite being the afflicted and broken heart with the accident, the singer made a smile and sang.
Remember that Paul Gonzo lost his father in January 2013, the result of a trampling. Virgil Paul, 82, was crossing the road to catch the bus and was collected by a car the PSP. The accident was near the Church of Benfica and the singer’s father died instantly. Friends report that Paulo Gonzo never loss himself and still have this open wound, when he sees from his girlfriend, who all claim to be “the great love of his life.”
