Sounds good. 32,000 people went to the village – Observer

Once you become a point of attraction in the circuit of summer festivals, the Good Sons celebrated ten years and the expectation was high. The village received for four days since last Friday until yesterday, Monday, about 32 thousand people. Portuguese music continued to be the only one to have a permanent place on the poster, as the villagers and volunteers from around the country.

The Good Sons started in 2006 as a biennial event, but from the 2014, the flow of visitors and the dynamics of the village allowed and consented to the festival to take place annually. After six editions, 192 concerts and 17,300 visitors – as advancing the organization – this year, the “village” has reached a new milestone. About 32 thousand people passed by Cem Soldos , listened Portuguese music and lived with the villagers.

Spread over eight stages, hundreds of artists (recorded in 50 bands) gave music to festival-goers and hundred-soldenses. Since fado with Carminho the pop of D’Alva, various musical genres were present in Cem Soldos. One of the scenes that counted and depended on public support was the Stage Garage, where people could act spontaneously – since it was an innovative project and to sign up with the organization. About 20 performances have gone through this stage, mounted in a small garage in the village.
