He died Nuno Melo, who still called Reed – Daily News – Lisbon

“I like to make telenovelas, series and television movies. I like good writers, like actors. I do not like bad texts do not like uninteresting characters, incompetent directors, incompetent technicians, producers incompetent. I do not like people who work with actors but not like actors. The actor with a career spanning over 30 years, known for his character in “Rain in the Sand” novel, died yesterday at age 55, the hospital CUF Infante Santo in Lisbon victim of liver cancer.

Admitted for treatment and waiting for a liver transplant, represented the last time a high of three recent days. The work was for a film’s director Edgar Pera, one of his closest friends. At Carnival were the Torres Vedras shoot scenes of his Farewell Meat work. “Nuno was already ill, because he had hepatice C and was one of the people who waited for it to be available the new drug,” says the filmmaker speaking to DN. On Friday had prompted the curriculum to attach to a cinespectáculo project that is preparing.

The funeral of Nuno Melo will take place today in the Church of St. John God in London Square, between 16:00 and 00:00. The burial ceremonies take place tomorrow at 8:45, with the celebration of Mass. The actor will be cremated at the cemetery of St. John’s High, to 9.15.
