Évora bids farewell to the festival Out There

The last Day Performing Arts Festival brings music and dance to the outer spaces of the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation. The evening opens at 19h, with the new circus show “Contigo” (free), which results from an encounter between contemporary dance choreographer Rui Horta and the circus exploited by João Paulo Santos. Then the stage is the “engine” of Pedro Cardoso, better known as Fish from the time he helped found the Watermark; Team is T, whose sound is in a meeting of folk, reggae and other music in the world; and finally, the Banda Sea, the supertrio Brazilian Marcelo Camelo and Mallu Magalhães and Portuguese Fred Ferreira. The ticket costs € 7.

“Between Both” in Algés …

celebrate 40 years of career, Rita Ribeiro presents on stage alongside Sandra Joseph, a Company’s production of Actors. Approaching reality, the seen and felt in this “duality of opposing forces in a universe where everything is constantly changing” is, according to press release, the purpose of the piece, it is also stated as a toast to life. To bring viewers to the theme, the show follows a talk with the actresses and a group of psychologists and therapists for an “uncomplicated conversation” about fear and love as liberation / redemption. Today at 17h at the Municipal Theatre Amélia Rey Colaço. The ticket costs 10 €.
