STCP will have to ‘shuttle’ dedicated to the Comic-Con between Thursday and Sunday – Porto Canal

Matosinhos, Porto, 06 dec (Lusa) — The Sociedade de Transportes colectivos do Porto (STCP) announced today that it will have a ‘shuttle’ between the House of Music and the Exponor, in Matosinhos, dedicated to the Comic-Con Portugal, during the four days of the event.

In a statement, the STCP reported that “Comic-Con is a convention of large dimension that the STCP is intended to serve in the best way”, and that “in addition to the lines 507 and 601, reinforces the supply to the Exponor with the ‘Shuttle’ STCP Comic Con, which works all days of the event, between the interface of underground House Music and the Comic-Con”.

That route will have “high frequencies in the hours of increased mobility”, that is, 15 in 15 minutes in the morning and 12 in 12 minutes at the end of the day “with buses of high capacity”, while during the afternoon the frequency will be 30 in 30 minutes, a travel time estimated at 20 minutes.

“The combination of ‘Shuttle’ + Metro aims to ensure the connection more frequent, quick and convenient to Comic-Con, from points such as the Campanhã train station, the downtown Porto, or Gaia, for example. The STCP also ensures the connection to the ‘shuttle’ through several bus lines passing in this interface: 202, 203, 204, 208, 209, 501, 503, 504, 507, 601, 704, 902 and 903,” added the operator.

The third Comic Con Portugal, which if you go back and perform at Exponor, in Matosinhos, will improve access to the grounds and to facilitate the circulation, with more than 200 guests in the first year of four days, announced today the organization.

With the premieres of the series from SyFy as “Childhood’s End”, “Aftermath” and “Midnight in Texas” or games like “Lego Worlds”, the Comic Con Portugal this year will count with the presence of singers like Cobie Smulders (from the series “How I Met Your Mother”), Lennie James (“The Walking Dead”), Kevin Sussman (“The Big Bang Theory”), Jason Isaacs and Katie Leung (of the saga “Harry Potter”)in the area of TV and Film, with the actor David Bradley been canceled on Sunday.

The Comic Con Portugal, held between Thursday and Sunday, with day tickets costing between a 20.5 and 23 € up to Wednesday, and between 23.5% and 25 euros from Thursday, while the passes are 45 € to 49 € from Thursday, and there are also daily tickets and passes for families.
