Six public schools are in the 20 first places of a ranking of the Secondary School built this year for the first time by the Ministry of Education, which last year already had conceived for the basic education. Designated 'Pathways Direct' Success, the indicator allows you to realize what are the schools that most make the progress of the students. The primary and Secondary School of Vila Cova, Barcelos, occupies the first place.
In the rankings usual, constructed based on the notes of the examinations, the government schools are not able to positions so high. Last year, the best public in the ranking of the CM was the School of Restelo in 34th place.
The indicator examines the percentage of students of the school with routes direct success in the last two school years, that is, who obtain a positive note on the two exams of year 12, after a journey with no holds on the 10th and on the 11th. Then, the percentage of trajectories of success among the students of the school is compared with the national average of students who, three years prior to entry in the Secondary, had a school level similar.
