Ana Moura, Samuel Úria, Noiserv, Best Youth, and Miguel Araujo are some of the artists that will act on Wednesday, in Lisbon, in a solidarity concert in favour of Doctors Without Borders in Syria. Will be about twenty artists and groups to trample the Capitol Theatre in a night of performances in which the revenue ticket will revert to that organization, in a scenario of civil conflict in Syria.
“The idea came from a very informal, we wanted to sensitize people to what is happening in Aleppo [syrian city]. He formed a civic movement very fast and with the will to do things, to not get indifferent. There are human beings suffering,” he told Lusa news agency the singer Selma Uamusse, one of the driving force behind the concert.
scheduled for 21:30 and tickets are 10 euros, the concert will also feature Benjamin, D’alva, Gospel Collective, Joana Alegre, Joana Barra Vaz, Luísa Sobral, Marcia, Mikkel Solnado, Pedro Tatanka, Rita Redshoes, Selma Uamusse, Tiago Bettencourt, Tó Trips and We Trust.
“we Are musicians, but, above all, we are a group of ordinary citizens with the desire to do a thing beyond the simple awareness,” said the singer.

Syria has been the scene of a civil war in the last five years and Aleppo was considered to be an important stronghold of the rebels. There are tens of thousands of civilians stranded in the city and the plan of withdrawal of the inhabitants was resumed today after being suspended since Friday.
According to the United Nations, approximately 40.000 civilians and rebels are besieged in the sector the rebel Aleppo.
