Ryan Adams return to Portugal to perform in the Us Alive – the Public.en

Ryan Adams, the name revealed in the cauldron of alt-country as the leader of Whiskeytown, in the 1990s, before the start of the solo career at the beginning of this century, and musician given to swerving aesthetic surprising, is the new confirmation to the poster of the next edition of the Us Alive. The musician of Gold operates on the Promenade in Algés on the first day of the festival, July 6, and will bring with him the new album, the Prisioner, with editing scheduled for 17 February and is said to have been influenced by the rock music of the 1980s and, lyrically, the pain of separation from Mandy Moore, the actress, whom he had married in 2009. The first single, Do you still love me, has already been released.

After the environment desolate of debut solo, Heartbreaker, in 2000, Ryan Adams has won the attention of all (public and critical) with Gold album edited in 2001 and that led to the which cast on him the laudatory ad (or cursed, depending on perspective) that came to the world the new Bob Dylan. This will be the second concert in Portugal, the musician, and after the passage through the Aula Magna, in Lisbon, in 2011.

The Us Alive is scheduled for the days 6, 7 and 8 July 2017. It is already confirmed the presence of Depeche Mode, Foo Fighters, The Kills, Warpaint and Alt-J.
