Tânia Ribas de Oliveira has come to defend himself publicly on the accusations of plagiarism surrounding his new book and the comparisons to a work of Ana Isabel Arroja. “Didn’t know this book completely and I am still unaware of,” she said.

Accused of plagiarizing a work of the radio host Ana Isabel Arroja with his newly released book “The Pearls of Our Children”, Tânia Ribas de Oliveira turned to its blog to defend itself. The publication, to which he gave the name of “my right” answer, begins by underlining its seriousness and professionalism.

“I’m 40 years old. Work in television for 20 and nothing that got me fell from the heaven. Work with the necessary seriousness of those who respect the luck of the privilege – the luck of the privilege of having the profession with that if you dreamed of since you were a child”.

The presenter of the RTP, a mother of two boys – Tom and Peter – and the author of three children’s books, he also explained that it was challenged several times to compile the “unique and unrepeatable” phrases of their children and that, in conjunction with the publisher, the Manuscript, agreed to create a work that was “a record for all the mothers.”

The worst came after. “Today [Saturday] I woke up with a story as sad as the evil: the news that I would have plagiarized an idea from three years ago, a mother who would have written a book about all the phrases of her daughter. And before that, how many there were? And after my, how many there will be? I hope that many, many!”.

Tanya defended, then, by ensuring: “did not know this book completely and still not know about. Point two,” he continued, “the people who now accuse me, were one of the first to encourage me to write my book.” After several arguments in its favor, the face of the public broadcaster concluded: “Thank you for the publicity and for the failed attempt to overshadow a beautiful design. Let us be humble: it is a claim to the unbounded to find that we are too good to be imitated. Before us, there were others already. And after us, too.”

In statements to a daily newspaper, the leader of the Rádio Comercial Ana Isabel Arroja had already beaded: “I Wish the greatest success to Tania, but her book looks like a copy of my” criticized.
