The funeral of actor Carlos Rodrigues, known as Manuel Ball, who died on Saturday, at the age of 72 years, are to be held in Setúbal.
The funeral for the actor held this Monday, at the church of the Convent of Jesus, and the funeral on Tuesday, at 11.30 am, for the cemetery of sorrows), in Setúbal, has announced the Theatre of Animation of Setúbal (TAS).
Born on 3 September 1944, Manuel Ball was actor resident of the TAS and participated in several television series, including “fine People is another thing”, “crazy laugh”, “Nico d work”, “We the rich”, “The shop’s” Camilo ” and “Inspector Max” and in the soap operas “dogrose”, “The banker to the people,” Gardens “prohibited” and “Daughter of the sea”, among others.
In 1977, received the Award for Best Actor, the Iberian assigned in the framework of the III Festival of Cinema of the Iberian peninsula.
Manuel Ball he was interned in the Hospital de S. Bernardo, Setubal, where he had submitted to a surgical intervention, and had the clinic about a week before he died.
