Deftones will be part of the poster of the Super Bock Super Rock, with a performance scheduled for July 15.

The Deftones are a band of alternative metal, american, winner of the Grammy Awards, coming from Sacramento, California, formed in 1988 and currently consists of Chino Moreno (lead vocals and guitar), Stephen Carpenter (guitar), Sergio Vega (Bass), Frank Delgado (DJ and synth), and Abe Cunningham (drums and percussion). Chi Cheng was the bass player of the original lineup, however in 2008, but he was in a coma due to an accident road traffic. Although showing a slow progression in his treatment, he died in 2013.
The story of the year sold about seven million records around the world until today, having platinum on the RIAA, the U.S. and the other gold.
The uniqueness, the creativity and experimentalism of the band make that distances itself from the label of nu metal, and their sound is usually defined, including by many fans around the world, such as metal and experimental rock.
This is the second confirmation for the Super Bock Super Rock, after the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
