George Michael: A samaritan quiet? – Express

The singer George Michael, who died this Sunday, Christmas day, aged 53, was known for his career as an artist and also for a few aspects of his personal life, such as consumption of drugs or homosexuality. But there is a side of his life that have gone unnoticed and which is now to be revealed.

According to an article published on the website Mashable, George Michael would be a good samaritan is quiet and secluded that has done a lot for all sorts of people and institutions, from foreign debts, passing by the nurses of the National Health Service of England or the LGBT community.

The information comes from various publications that emerged on Twitter on Monday, on the day following the death of singer, celebrities who have taken direct knowledge of these good deeds.

One of them is the television presenter and british producer Richard Osman, who wrote that "a woman who went to the program 'Deal or no Deal' said that it needed 15 thousand pounds for a treatment of fertilization in vitro. George Michael called the next day and gave him the 15 thousand pounds".

the Other is a journalist with the Guardian, Sali Hughes, who said: "I Wrote an article many years ago about a celebrity who had given a gratuity of five thousand pounds a maid of bar because she was studying for a nurse, and was in debt. Was the George Michael.

in fact, George Michael you have done many good deeds by nurses in a general way, especially after they have helped take care of her mother, who died of cancer in 1997. And have even offered free tickets to another of their concerts.

Other stories tell of good deeds for the homeless as of Emilyne Mondo that account: "George Michael has worked anonymous in a shelter where I was a volunteer. I never told anyone because he asked not to say. It was thus that he was". Or even for the children who have donated millions of pounds.

"For years it was the most extraordinary and generous filantropista, donating money to Childline [an institution that receives calls from children in trouble anonymously]. But he was determined that the cis generosity was not public, so no one outside knew how much he had donated to the children but vulnerable. I think we all have memories of songs of Wham or George Michael that tell us something. But certainly, for british children it meant much more," said the founder of the institution, Esther Rantzen, in statements to the Associated Press, here cited by Mashable.

finally, there are also reports of donations of money to funds that support children and adults with disabilities, and still more public, for the institution of support for people with AIDS called the Terrence Higgins Trust and also to the Band Aid and Live Aid, who joined money against hunger.
