Deep Purple in Portugal in July – Sound Art

the

rhythm and Blues announces the passing of "THE LONG GOODBYE TOUR" on the 4th of July by the Meo Arena, possibly the last opportunity to see the band live in our country.

The band features in Portugal the album "inFinite" to be released in 2017.

Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Ian Paice, Steve Morseand Don Airey (Phase VIII of the band) continue to explore the ways diverse hard rock – the textures and nuances of the most recent works have nothing of retreading.

If you put the entire catalog of the band to play in random mode, the result will be one of the best tributes to rock music. In recent years, Deep Purple have been extended progressively to new areas of the rock, so as to capture the interest of fans who were not yet born at the time that the Deep Purple dominated the music scene. The albums 'In Rock'(1970),'Machine Head' (1972) and 'Made In Japan' released in 1973, it catapulted the band to the top of the table in terms of billing in the live shows and record sales all over the world, with the song 'Smoke On The Water' to achieve the status of the mega hit.

Having amassed so many songs that are considered "classics", the alignments of the live concerts are always the subject of debate between the older fans and the newer, especially with the new edition of 'NOW WHAT ?!', the album with the title of gold which came in the top 10 from all over the world. The final chapter of a career with more than 120 million albums sold, and it sold for more than half a million copies having the band sold more than 1 million concert tickets since its publication.

videos "From the Setting Sun in Wacken" and "To the Rising Sun in Tokyo" reached, on the same day, the 1st and 2nd places in the table of videos from the United Kingdom, thus showing the fascination that shows the band exercising with their fans.
