He died the drummer of David Bowie – Digital Journal

The drummer of David Bowie since the second half of the 70 died.

Dennis Davis was a victim of cancer. The musician joined the band in Bowie segunde half of the 70s and remained until the final tour for the biennium 2003-2004.

I recorded some of the classic albums as “Station To Station”, “Heroes”, “Low” and “Lodger”, and has participated in “The Idiot”, still in the Berlin stage, but Iggy Pop . Born and raised in Manhattan, studied with legendary drummers like Max Roach and Elvin Jones, recorded with Roy Ayers and George Benson, before being hired by Bowie in 1974.

Since then, also participated in “Hotter than July” of Stevie Wonder. Davis suffered from cancer and death was discovered by one of the pages of David Bowie fans.
