The third stage of the Libya Rally took us this Sunday to Mahmid, city surrounded by sand and a very own beauty. The camp where the caravan will stay two nights is within the ‘walls’ of a hotel, although well hidden, seems to have a lot of fame.
That says Mick Jagger, lead singer of the legendary Rolling Stones. The singer has spent the night here and tell us, was not the only personality to do it. With the desert at the door, this refuge in Mahmid offers a fantastic experience, although we have no access to their suites and pool.
Either way the tents are also comfortable and much more in the spirit of all those present. Dotted around the hotel grounds, some hide in worthy postal places.
