Bryan Adams and Springsteen cancels concert in protest anti-gay law – TVI24

Various artists are against the “bathroom bill”, which, you see, is a decline in civil rights of homosexuals and transsexuals. The law, which takes effect in July, allows certain institutions refuse to provide services to gays and lesbians because of their religious beliefs. The law in question, designated HB2, prevents transsexuals attend public bathrooms gender with which they identify.

Bryan Adams wrote that the new law is “incomprehensible” and prefers to use his ” voice in solidarity “against discrimination.

Bryan Adams followed the example of Bruce Springsteen, who canceled two concerts in North Carolina.

the PayPal company, in turn, also announced the cancellation of an investment of millions of dollars in North Carolina in protest to the anti-gay law, according to the New York Times.
