Hendrix room in London opens to the public – RTP

Legend of the electric guitar and rock & amp; roll, Jimi Hendrix lived in this London apartment with his girlfriend Kathy Etchingham (in the photo, dated February 8, 2016) between 1968 and 1969, until about a year before he died.

Only the room is open to visitors, and on the bedside table, one can see a bottle of portuguesíssimo rosé that Hendrix was fond.

Jimi Hendrix, born in the United States, died in London in 1970 with only 27 years, but left a huge influence on music that has been created around the world since then. Here is one of his best known and acclaimed performances, All Along the Watchtower on an original Bob Dylan.
