The Steve Jobs of the film is a man feared by surrounding it and perfecionistas. The film focuses on three key moments in Apple’s history: the presentation of the Macintosh computer (1984), the NeXT workstation (1988) and iMac (1998), focusing especially on youth Steve Jobs. It also shows aspects of personal actor’s life, like the relationship with his daughter.
The film is directed by Danny Boyle, who has acknowledged the difficulties of bringing the project to the end and pressures to give up that It was targeted not only him as the team and actors who did not get to participate in the project because of this pressure.
The argument Steve Jobs is written by Aaron Sorkin, who also wrote the story of Mark Zuckerberg for cinema, from Walter Isaacson’s biography.
Steve Jobs is played by Michael Fassbender. Kate Winslet wears the skin of marketing director, Seth Rogen is Steve Wozniak and Jeff Daniels is John Sculley, former CEO of Apple.
In the United States the film is on display for about a month. In recent weeks it has been removed from over two thousand movie theaters, an indicator that is far from being a box office success.
The debut in the US market went well, but the last weekend in week ticket sales will have reached numbers well below expectations and this dictated the departure of a significant number of cinemas.
