The fado singer Ana Moura debuted on Tuesday, the first single the new album. The theme is called “Day Off” and the music and lyrics are by Jorge Cruz (Devil on the Cross), one of the collaborators on the new album of the singer.
The 6 Ana Moura disc, with edition scheduled for the end of November, was recorded by two Portuguese artists you work with regularly: Angelo Freire in Portuguese guitar, and Pedro Soares, the viola de fado. The producer was Canadian Larry Klein, winner of four Grammys and with whom Ana Moura worked in the previous album, “Desfado”.
In the list of holdings are also described several international music names like Dan Lutz, on bass, Dean Parks on guitar, Pete Korpela, on percussion, Pete Kuzma, on keyboards, and the legendary Vinnie Colaiuta, on battery.
