The Brazilian collective mood Funds door will be on tour in December by Portugal with the show “Portable”, according to the announcement on Tuesday.
“Portable” is described as “an improvisational show without interruption,” that part of an interview with the audience. The interpretation is up to Gregory Duvivier, João Vicente de Castro, Luis Lobianco and Gustavo Miranda, four of the elements of the Brazilian project Back Door. Directed by Barbara Duvivier.
The tour starts December 17 at Theatro Circo, Braga, followed later by Leiria (18), Aveiro (19), Lisbon (from 21 to 22 in the Aula Magna) and Porto, on 23 December in the House of Music.
“Inspired by a volunteer from the audience, the cast creates a narrative which stages the interviewee’s memories. In the end, the result is a show made by the audience and for the audience, “reads the presentation note of” Portable “, cited by Lusa.
This is not a door opening of the Funds in Portugal. In 2014, they presented a stage version of the project, which began in 2012 with short episodes of humor in a Youtube channel on the Internet.
In three years of existence, the group has become a thing of the Brazilian humor, reaching the two billion views and more than ten million subscribers.
The cast also includes other authors, actors and comedians as Clarice Hawk, António Tabet, Fábio Porchat, Gabriel Totoro, Julia Rabello and Rafael Infante.
