The British band The Cure will perform in Lisbon on 22 November 2016 as part of a European tour with 30 shows planned in 17 countries, announced Everything is New.
According to the producer of shows, this will be Europe’s largest tour of The Cure since 2008.
The show in Lisbon is scheduled for 20:00, the MEO Arena in Lisbon.
Over the past seven years the band performed shows in London and was also head of poster of some European festivals like Roskilde, Werchter, Reading & amp; Leeds, Optimus Alive !, Pinkpop, Hurricane & amp; Southside, Paleo, Vieilles Charrues, BBK, Belfort, Frequency, Electric Picnic and Bestival.
“The Cure Tour 2016,” with a new stage production, will go through 37 years of songs, from the known to the less known songs and some songs not yet presented to the fans.
Formed in 1976, the group was known for songs like “Boys d’ont Cry,” “Close to Me”, “Friday I’m in Love” and “Just Like Heaven”.
On stage will be Robert Smith (voice / guitar), Simon Gallup (bass), Jason Cooper (drums), Roger O’Donnell (keyboards) and Reeves Gabrels (guitar).
The Twilight Sad will be the support band for every concert tour the band also indicates Everything is New.
