Died Jim Diamond, the interpreter of I Should Have Known Better – publico

                 

                         
                     

                 

 
                         

I Should Have Known Better served as the soundtrack to slows more cheesy in mid-1980 and would certainly have been more than one week at number 1 of the British Top up, however, had not appeared The Power of Love . It was still one of the highlights of Jim Diamond, who died on Saturday.


 

The BBC, which broke the news, did not advance the cause of death, explaining only that it was “sudden” and that Diamond, 64, died at home in London.

Scottish Glasgow, Diamond joined his first band at age 14. Back in London he was one of the Bandit, and then signed with Arista Records. After a passage by Los Angeles, and has to return to the UK, formed the Ph.D with Tony Hymas and Simon Phillips. The first single from the debut album, titled I Will not Let You Down , sold millions, but the band did not last and Diamond signed the soil with A & M Records. The single I Should Have Known Better , the solo album Double Crossed (1984) went directly to the first of the top.

More recently, in 2011, Diamond released a draft covers entitled City Of Soul that he recorded with several other Scottish musicians whose reverted income to charity Cash For Kids.

According to the BBC, the last Post Diamond on his personal Facebook page dated September 28 and in it the musician announces the death of his mother: “If you look at the sky this night and they see a couple dancing on a cloud to the sound of the “big band” of Count Basie are my mother and my father.
