At a time still feel the media echoes arrival at 5 plates from his latest album, Ana Moura has just revealed a few more details now that it will be their sixth studio album.
The album, as yet unnamed, to be published at the end of 2015 brings again the great names of Portuguese music. One of the names that Ana Moura sings for the first time is Carlos Have, which signs a theme completely, music and lyrics. The same with Samuel Úria, whom the singer had already confessed fan of his work and compositions at the time of recording “Desfado”. Rookies also in his voice are Jorge Cruz (Devil on the Cross), Edu World or Sara Tavares, which makes up a theme that brings the lyrics to Kalaf (Buraka Som Sistema). There are even words of writer José Eduardo Agualusa, whose music is composed by the Angolan musician Toty Sa’Med.
The new album of Ana Moura also receives themes musicians and authors with whom the singer has been working regularly since the issue of ‘Desfado “and appearing here as a logical consequence of this complicity. Especially Marcia Santos, Miguel Araujo, Pedro da Silva Martins here joins his brother Luis Jose Martins (Deolinda) and Pedro Abrunhosa, signing two themes on this record.
There is also room for the traditional fado, Ana Moura is keen to hold on to your repertoire. Freitas Manuela writes under the Fado Cravo and Maria do Rosario Pedreira under the Fado Carlos da Maia (Sextilhas).
The new work was recorded in Los Angeles (USA) with producer Larry Klein.
